Law Schools Are Preparing For AI’s Takeover Of The Legal Profession

I estimate that within five years, it will no longer be possible to be a successful lawyer without using AI.

— Professor Gary Marchant of Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, in comments given to Reuters on the rise of the use of artificial intelligence within the legal profession. To that end, according to a new ABA survey, more than half of law schools now offer classes on AI, and ASU Law is launching a special degree program focused on AI.
